User Types reflect a level of trust that a user has earned with Game Trader World. A higher user type does not signify an endorsement by us or a guarantee that you will have no problems with these users. User Types simply distinguish users that have met certain requirements, which may indicate a higher level of trustworthiness.

Gray is the most basic user type that is given to all new members when they sign up. They have not yet made a payment to us through PayPal, but they may have made several trades never the less. These users are in good standing and have a verified email address.

A Blue user has made at least one payment to us using PayPal. These users are in good standing, have a verified email address and have a valid Credit Card or PayPal account.

Gold status is achieved by donating $20 (or more) to the site. Gold users are able to create their own section in the forums which they are able to moderate, customize their homepage and view the site without any ads. Read about other benefits.

A user with a Red background has been Banned. They are no longer able to sign into Game Trader World with that account and they are unable to sign into or create new accounts from the IP Address of the banned account. Banned users may contest their status by emailing unban@gametraderworld.com.
